We often are asked “how can I be sure the Police will attend my premises in the event of a break in or intrusion?”
The simple answer is that the Police Service will only respond to remotely monitored security systems that meet the requirements of the NPCC Policy.
Mercury Security & Facilities Management’s NSI Gold Command Control Monitoring Centre meets these requirements.
Mercury Security currently operates a fully approved and highly accredited state of the art Command and Control Monitoring Centre that remotely monitors security systems of businesses across the UK and Ireland. Our sophisticated blend of hardware and software allows us the capacity to remotely monitor the Fire and Intruder alarms and CCTV systems for businesses and residential premises across the Globe.
In order to qualify for police response your business’s security systems must be both installed and monitored by a company who possesses a United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) Accredited certification from awarding body such as NSI (National Security Inspectorate). Mercury Security & Facilities Management is accredited to the NSI Gold standard, the highest available accreditation.
In the event of an alarm activation, NPCC Policy states that the police will only respond to a security system activation as a result of a confirmed activation through a remotely monitored security system for example via Mercury Security & Facilities Management’s NSI Gold Command and Control Centre or alternatively when a person at the scene of a crime alerts the police and requests police attendance.
